MICA has, for the last fifteen years, provided scholarships to the spouses and dependents of its Members. Due in large part to the generous contributions of the Potomac and Huachuca Chapters and fund-raising efforts at the National level we can now offer more substantial awards. This is excellent opportunity to allow deserving spouses and dependents to further their education. HALL ADVANCED ANALYSIS SCHOLARSHIP "NOW ACCEPTING NOMINATIONS FOR 2013". The Military Intelligence Corps Association (MICA) is pleased to announce that nominations for the 3nd Annual Hall Scholarship awards are now open. In the past the Hall Scholarship program recognized the professional excellence of Intelligence Analysts. This year the scholarship has been expanded to those intelligence professionals in collection positions. A group of former Intelligence Senior officers continue to provide their resources to sustain the Hall Scholarship Fund. The Military Intelligence Corps Association (MICA) is the executive agent and steward for this scholarship program. We would ask MICA members to make widest dissemination of this notice. While MICA membership is highly encouraged, those wishing to submit a scholarship packet need not be current MICA members. All intelligence analysts or collection managers are eligible for the scholarship award. The focus however is on mid-grade civilians, NCO’s and Warrant Officers who are assigned to units or agencies focused conducting analysis or who are deeply involved in the process of collection of information and intelligence to support Commanders. We anticipate awarding at least two scholarships this year to the highest scoring individuals. Each scholarship award will be in the amount of $10,000. Awardees are required to use the award to further their advanced education on the concepts, theories and techniques supporting analysis or collection management.
